Child sexual abuse is epidemic in our culture.
One in 10 children will be sexually abused before the age of 18.
It is the most prevalent trauma children face with the most serious array of consequences.
Child sexual abuse happens because of the choices adults make.
And not just the choices of the abuser. It happens because of the choices parents make, the choices schools, churches and youth organizations make. In many cases, it is simply a matter of not knowing what the better choices are that can create safer environments for children.
Adults Protecting Children helps adults and organizations
make better choices and diminish risk factors that make children vulnerable to abuse.
